But alas, those were my single days. Now, as an old married woman, I'm not so fun to read about. Mind you, by old, I mean 25. But jeez, do I ever feel older. It's like, the moment I turned 25 I was actually turning 55; as if 25 was the end of my youth altogether and now I actually have to live like an adult...scary.
I got married 6 months ago. And the transition from girl living at home to woman living with boy has been challenging, to say the least. But I live for change, and get high on challenges, so this melange worked out quite nicely for my psyche.
There is, however, more to me than my marital status. How do I describe myself in a few words? Well, if this were a Monster resume title box, I'd say something like "Entrepreneurial marketing/communications specialist/creative writer/fundraiser/event planner/business owner" But err...I reckon there are a bit too many 'slashes' in there to be taken seriously. But it's the truth. Im a Jack(ie) of all trades. Which is part of the reason I can't seem to ever decide on one thing to focus on. (The other reason being that I have ideas coming at me a mile a minute, and it's tough to weed out the bad from the good at times). But, you'll learn all of this in following my blog.
So, before I ramble on any more as you'll notice I do quite regularly, I welcome you to my new, hopefully entertaining blog about an 'old' married woman, seeking to create some excitement, meaning, and fulfillment in her life through work, love, friends, and never losing the passion.
